Primer solution for Oratex tapes 100ml (adhesion promoter)

Bonding agent for ORATEX® straight / pinked edge tapes

Application: At first stir the liquid thoroughly.
Clean the surface well where the straight / pinked edge tapes are to be positioned. The surface has to be free of grease and dust. Apply the liquid with a cotton cloth on the surface where the straight / pinked edge tapes should be placed. You can apply the liquid with a small overlap because it dries transparently.
ATTENTION: The cotton cloth should not fuzz because the fluff will stick in the applied liquid and show up. Also a paper towel is not suitable because it’s particles will stick in the liquid as well and leave traces. Let the applied liquid air dry approx. 5 minutes after application. Remove the siliconised release paper from the straight / pinked edge tapes and place the straight / pinked edge tapes in the right position.
Fix the straight / pinked edge tapes according to the ORATEX® Manual. Fix the straight / pinked edge tapes with the heat gun (minimum 120 °C / maximum 150 °C). Observe Temperature-Variation with different substrates. Use the ORATEX® felt blade to press the heat activated adhesive of the tapes into the surface structure. For a perfect finish use the ORATEX® sealing iron for ironing (120-150 °C) the tapes.
